Iachia Villa is a historic residence founded in the eighteenth century located in the town of Ruda, a few kilometres from the Roman city of Aquileia.
The complex is surrounded by a large historic park and consists of several buildings, which form a small rural village. The architectural style can be traced to a kind of aristocratic Venetian – Habsburg architecture.
The Villa is surrounded by the centuries-old park of 14 hectares, where there are rare plants and tall ancient trees, including oaks, hornbeams, magnolias, lindens, and cedars of Lebanon. It’s the largest private park in Friuli, designed in the nineteenth century.
